Welcome to Lochbay B&B on the Waternish peninsula!
Lochbay B&B is a “Scottish” owned and run Bed and Breakfast situated in the beautiful peninsula of Waternish. Our B&B overlooks the Minch and the Outer Hebrides and is only a ten minute walk from the village of Stein and the seafront. The original house was built in 1910 and has just been renovated and extended to a very high standard.
Lochbay B&B is an ideal base to explore the Waternish peninsula and the Isle of Skye with attractions such as Dunvegan Castle and Trumpan Church only a short drive away. On the peninsula there are several coastal walks from which you can enjoy spectacular views of the headlands and islands as well as the local wildlife.
Lochbay B&B provides generous double and twin bedrooms with en-suites. Each room has a TV as well as tea and coffee facilities and WiFi is available throughout Lochbay B&B at no extra charge. There are drying facilities for walkers, cyclists and motorcyclists. A friendly and relaxed atmosphere awaits you at Lochbay B&B!
Lochbay B&B has a minimum of 2 nights stay. During their stay, guests are free to come and go as they please and use the facilities throughout the day.
To set you up for the day, we serve a full Scottish breakfast of bacon, sausage, egg, hame-made tattie scones, hame-made scotch pancakes, mushrooms, tomatoes and beans. There is a choice of eggs available; fried eggs, boiled eggs or scrambled eggs. We also offer a vegetarian breakfast. Porridge, cereal, yoghurt and toast are lighter options and served along with freshly brewed tea and coffee.
